ACE KIDS GOLF
Since its inception in 1998, 1000 kids have participated in the program. Ace Kid’s Golf has a variety of different features, including educational golf and girls in golf that teaches life skills as it relates to golf and life in general. Its programs have produced some very positive results such as improved grades, increased self esteem and junior golfers that have gone on to play in state and national tournaments.
One of its participants graduated from the program and is now at Monterey State working on a golf scholarship, although he received an academic scholarship as well. Other graduates from the program have moved on and attend junior and state colleges. There are 150 kids in its summer program this year and the kids really love it. They play at a number of Oakland golf courses, such as Lake Chabot, Metropolitan, San Leandro and Tilden Park which is a beautiful course in the woods. The kids enjoy it! It’s beneficial to the community and it keeps kids off the streets.

Without the continued support from our sponsors, donors and volunteers we would not be able to accomplish our goals.’ As quoted by Jeff Callaway, Ace Kids Golf Executive Director,
