When will the event be held and where?

We are in the process of securing a country host for the 2011 World Final event and will be announced by end of Jan. 2011.

 

How many events has eTour hosted?

This is our second World final event. The 2006 World Charity Golf Challenge was a smashing success and our intent is to hold 2-4 World Charity Golf Challenges of this size next year in Europe, Asia, South America and the US.

 

When will eTour announce the Finalists for the 2011 World Charity Golf Challenge?

We will do a blind drawing of four people with a low and high net per participating country, region and or specialty group and will notify all finalists by the close of October 31st 2011 via e-mail and telephone.

 

What is the Deadline for Registering for the 2009 World Charity Golf Challenge?

eTour Golf will stop accepting registrations on July 30, 2011..

 

Does eTour Golf have a dress code for the World Charity Golf Challenge?

Each participant in the World Charity Golf Challenge will receive multiple types of logo merchandise from our sponsors – we would ask you to where this attire when and where you can; we also ask all World Charity Golf Challenge Participants not to wear competing logo merchandise during the World Charity Golf Challenge and not to wear the following: short shorts, athletic shorts, tennis shorts, cut-offs, jeans, jean shorts, tank tops, t-shirts and/or sweats.

 

How can I see the Broadcast of the Event?

The 2006 event was broadcast via Fox Sports Middle East and Australia and American One and all World Charity Golf Challenge participants will be notified after the event when/where the 2011 World Final and Country final events will be broadcast.

 

How many Tournament participants will be playing?

We anticipate having 75-100 finalists playing in this year's event, representing 20 countries around the world, drawing from North America, Asia and South America. Last year's event was truly global as 60% of our participants were from Europe, Asia and North America.

 

What rules of golf are used to govern the World Charity Golf Challenge?

This tournament is subject to all federal, state, local laws, RCGA, R&A, USGA Rules of Golf and Amateur Status requirements in the participants Country. Note: All Amateurs are required to obtain prior approval from their respective regulating bodies in their country of residence prior to registering. eTourGolf.com, its employees, affiliates and its sponsors accept no responsibility for any Amateur member's failure to comply with their governing body. What are the overall objectives for eTour Golf?

We are a for profit enterprise that has a corporate charter focused on donating a significant portion of all revenue that we generate to a group of local charities around the world.

 

When and how are the Grand Prizes given to World Charity Golf Challenge participants?

All prices are awarded during the actual World Charity Golf Challenge and publicized after the event via traditional media outlets.

 

What is a reverse draw?

This refers to our pulling a specific number of names from the list of all participants each day during the World Charity Golf Challenge until we get down to the last two, who will be grand prize winners of our two Porsche Cayennes and some other prizes to be announced later this year.
